About Elise Photography

A Little about Elise …
At 17 Elise was already an award winner and in 2021 she won the RSPCA Young Photographer of the Year award in the under 15 category with ‘Golden Glow‘. She first picked up a camera during Lockdown, spending hours around the family farm capturing images of the wildlife, hares, deer, birds – she loved owls and birds of prey.
Her interest and passion grew and she went on to discover live music. A local event ‘Tribfest’ gave permission for her to go into the photographers pit at the front of the audience and take pictures, she did the same at Bridlington Spa at a McFly concert, so sparking an absolute love for the excitement and thrill of music. Elise and two of her close friends were huge fans of the Vamps and it was travelling to an outdoor concert of theirs, at the Wildlife Park in Doncaster in 2023, the girls were involved in a road accident on the motorway. Elise sustained serious injuries and passed away a week later in hospital. Elise was a student at the East Riding College in Beverley where she studied Media and Photography. All proceeds of any sales will go directly to the Elise Thomas Memorial Fund which will help students at East Riding College, buy equipment or with the cost of travel, whatever they need to help with their studies. This is to be Elise’s legacy.
